Credit Card Fraud?

Credit Card Fraud, also referred to as unlawful factoring of a credit card, occurs when someone uses a scanning device to access, read, obtain, memorize, or store the information encoded on a credit or payment card without the permission of the card's authorized user. The same is also chargeable if the information is retained in any way with the intent to defraud the authorized user, another person or business, or a financial institution. Unlawful factoring of a credit card transaction is a Class C felony. Repeat offenses are charged as a Class B felony.
